My name is Bobbi and I am a therapist of over 25 years. I specialize in treatment of depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and OCD. A unique focus of mine is working on underlying issues around ego and the core, authentic self. I am experienced in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), spiritual development, and dream interpretation as tools to understanding the true self. I strongly believe that people initially seek therapy for presenting problems, but there is always an underlying cause, something deeper that needs to be uncovered. I am interested in bringing that unconsciousness to the conscious level and healing the deep pain that manifests itself as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, or an eating disorder.
I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Sociology with a minor in Women's Studies at the University of Utah. I went on to pursue a Graduate Degree in Nashville where I obtained a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, and a Masters in Theology from Vanderbilt University.
But enough about me. Let's talk about you.
